Randy and Krystal Odom

Randy and Krystal Odom are from the San Francisco Bay Area of California.  Randy is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and Krystal is from Taiwan.  Randy graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri and studied for his Master’s in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Biola University in La Mirada, California.  Krystal graduated from Kansas State University with a Master’s degree in Education.  Randy and Krystal were married in Oakland, California in 1995.

For six years, in the mid-80’s/early 90’s, Randy taught university and graduate level English in China.  Following those years he enjoyed a 10-year ministry as pastor of an immigrant church in Oakland California.  From there Randy joined the staff of 3Crosses Church <https://www.3crosses.org> of Castro Valley, California as Pastor of Connection.  He served at Neighborhood Church for 7 years.  In 2009 the Odoms made their first exploratory trip to Cambodia.  Following that trip they discerned that God was calling them to leave the United States to serve His kingdom in Cambodia.  In August of 2010 3Crosses Church sent the Odoms out to Cambodia for their first term.

For the first 18 months of their assignment, Randy and Krystal served as directors of a residential care center for children in northern Cambodia.  Now, with EQUIP Cambodia <https://www.equipcambodia.org>, the Odoms are working to provide discipleship, job- and life-skills training in Siem Reap, Cambodia’s 3rd largest city.  Randy serves as President and Field Director of Equip Cambodia.  By the grace of God, the Odoms intend to stay in Cambodia long-term.
